lass sizes are small so that individual instruction is maximized. Classes start at age 8 all the way up to adult and students with no experience are encouraged to give the classes a try!!! All levels are welcome.
Clay Club On-going - Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center, Hollis NH
This "club" introduces students to the amazing world of polymer clay and what it can be used for. Learn basic clay care, technique & curing through a series of different projects that will incorporate paint, magnets, rubber stamps and findings. From seasonal decorations, to medallions and sculptures this will be a fun class that will let you experiment while learning. Several projects will allow the student to choose the subject matter and will encourage them to put their personal "stamp" on the end result.
Custom classes can be scheduled for groups upon request. I have classes and curriculums for students age 7 on up to adults. A minimum of 4 students are required to run a aclass and it can be on-going, a demonstration or a party. Please contact me for a full list of classes and information on pricing. Classes can be during the day or evening or on a weekend with appropriate lead time.

Crazy About Kawaii Saturdays - January 14 - February 18th ( 6 weeks) 10:30 am - Noon Wild Salamander Arts Center 12 years +
Polymer clay & the popular “Kawaii” style come together in a brand new “club” that is sure to bring a smile to your face. In this 6 week class, we will explore polymer clay technique through adorable charms and miniatures. While Kawaii looks simplistic, our projects will use a variety of techniques that incorporate pastels, paints, glazes and powders. Because of the structured nature of this class, as well as the advanced techniques covered, this class is recommended for students 12 years and older. (Any student under the age of 12 must have prior polymer clay experience and approval from instructor to join. ) Projects will include objects, food and animals like those pictured. All materials and tools will be provided including experienced instruction.
Clay Date: Lucky Leprechauns One-Session Work shop at Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center March 12, 2016 / 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM Ages 12 - Adult (Clay Club students are the welcome to join this Clay Date) Price $35
In this 2 – 2.5 hour workshop you will learn how to make a clever and cute little leprechaun out of polymer clay. This lucky little guy will stand roughly 2 inches tall and will be the perfect St. Patrick’s Day decoration. He is appropriate to use in a potted plant, fairy garden or just to stand on your windowsill.
This workshop will give students a basic understanding of how to create a polymer clay sculpture from start to finish. Students will be given the option of taking their projects home to cure (bake) themselves or they can stay and cure their projects while participating in a Q&A session on polymer clay.
Beginner Clay Date: Creative Critters One-Session Work shop at Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center March 19, 2016 / 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Agest 8+ Price $35
In this 2 hour workshop you will how to make a variety of little critters out of polymer clay. Our projects will include a ladybug, beetle and even a little frog. These critters will be adorable in a potted plant, fairy garden or even sitting on your windowsill. This workshop will give students a basic understanding of how to create polymer clay projects from start to finish. Projects will need to be baked after class at home. Polymer clay is safe to bake in a toaster or standard oven and baking instructions will be provided.
Beginner Clay Date: Magical Gardens One-Session Work shop at Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center May 14, 2016 / 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon Ages 8+ Price $35
In this 2 hour workshop you will learn how to make a fairy house out of a mini-terracotta pot and polymer clay. Our fairy house will be complete with a little door, window and leaf/flower roof. If time allows we can also create a mushroom or ladybug to accent our fairy house. This workshop will give students a basic understanding of how to create polymer clay projects from start to finish. Projects may need to be baked after class at home. Polymer clay is safe to bake in a toaster or standard oven and baking instructions will be provided.
Clay Date: Woodland Gnomes One-Session Work shop at Wild Salamander Creative Arts Center May 21, 2016 / 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Ages 12 - Adult (Clay Club students are the welcome to join this Clay Date) Price $35 In this 2 – 2.5 hour workshop you will learn how to make a cute little woodland gnome out of polymer clay. This magical little guy will stand roughly 2.5 inches tall and will be the perfect decoration to use in a potted plant, fairy garden or just to stand on your windowsill. If time allows, a mushroom or ladybug could be added to the project. This workshop will give students a basic understanding of how to create a polymer clay sculpture from start to finish. Clay Critter Jar - (A Polymer Clay Basics Class-Beginner) Tuesday, August 4th & Wednesday, August 5th, 2015. 9:30am - 11:30am Ages 7+
Do you like catching “critters” and putting them in a jar to watch? Unlike the ones you find outside the ones you will make in this class last forever (and won’t creep out your mom!) Not only will you learn the basics of how to sculpt in Polymer clay, but also you will make a variety of bugs and cute critters to put in your very own critter jar. Critters will include a frog, ladybug/beetle, worm, and a glow in the dark firefly. (If time allows we may add a couple more to the mix) At the end of class we will “stamp” a clay tag and make our own critter jar to display our creations.

Mystical Mermaids - (A Polymer Clay Basics Class- Beginner) Tuesday August 25th & Thursday August 27th 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm Ages 12+
Mermaids have been a popular part of art and folklore because of their mystical nature and unique beauty. Start your summer of right by diving into a fun class that will teach you the basics of Polymer clay and how to create your own magical mermaid. Once your mermaid is finished, we will create some friendly crabs to keep her company and set her up in style within a glass bowl complete with sand, shells, and sea glass.
